Collas Day has helped achieve a world first in Alderney, northernmost of the Channel Islands, with the completion of the legal framework for putting the island's tidal power project on a commercial basis. This will be the world's first commercial tidal power project in open water (rather than, say, tidal barrages in estuaries).
