Acted for MVP Asset Management (USA) LLC in the establishment of MVP Fund Range PCC Limited as a Class B authorised open-ended collective investment scheme. The strategy of the first three cells (the MVP Premium US Dollar Fund, the MVP Premium Euro Fund and the MVP Premium Sterling Fund) is to achieve capital appreciation through focused investments in life settlement related funds. MVP has a previous fund established in the British Virgin Islands. This is MVP's first fund established in Guernsey.
Migration of fund domiciled in the British Virgin Islands to Guernsey as a Class B open-ended authorised fund. The fund invests in commodities and commodity related equities. The migration has been undertaken to meet the requirements of key investors the fund manager has targeted for growth.

One initial cell of the Protected Cell Company, the Bordeaux Cell, has been created with an investment objective of medium to long-term capital appreciation with an emphasis on the classified wines of the Bordeaux region of France. Shares in the Bordeaux Cell were listed on the Channel Islands Stock Exchange in May 2007.
Acted for Close Fund Services Limited in its capacity as trustee/custodian of an incorporated cell company structure in connection with a complex transaction concerning the proposed transfer of both assets and members from one incorporated cell to another. European Stafford Fund, an open-ended fund of funds, which is denominated in Euros and structured as a Guernsey unit trust. It has sought authorisation to be marketed in Switzerland. Collas Day has also advised on the establishment of the American Stafford Fund (denominated in US dollars) and the Stafford Global Equity Fund for the same promoter.
