Lawyer offers service without strings

The residential property team at Collas Day has announced that it will be launching a free "Property Clinic" to provide a personal briefing to inexperienced buyers on the process of buying in Guernsey and generic issues that have to be thought through by property buyers.

"This is an entirely free service" says the manager of the residential property team, Ian Ferbrache, "There are no hidden hooks or commitments. People don't have to be clients to benefit from it. If they want to have specific advice about a transaction that will be different but we believe that people who are not sure about the steps involved in a property purchase will welcome the opportunity to get some reassurance on the subject, from experts. That will include first time buyers but it won't be limited to them.

Details of the service will appear on the Collas Day website and be advertised in local media.
