Expertise

Jason heads up the Property Department. His expertise lies in the areas of property, family wealth and inheritance. He has extensive experience of all types of Guernsey property transactions, covering both residential and commercial, and is considered an expert in Guernsey inheritance law. He also regularly advises on Alderney and Sark property matters. After studying law in the UK, Jason became a member of both the English Bar and Guernsey Bar in 1996. He has been a partner of Collas Day since 2002 and became Head of Department in 2008. Jason is a member of the Bar Council sub-committee looking at conveyancing reforms.

Outside Work

Jason is married with 2 children.  He enjoys walking, cycling and spending time with his family. He is Vice President of the Royal Guernsey Agricultural and Horticultural Society.  He has keen interest in all aspects of farming and aviculture. Acts as Company Secretary for the Guernsey Women's Refuge and helps with aspects of their fund raising.
