Expertise

Primarily focuses on the formation of new Guernsey companies whether simple share companies to more complex PCC and ICC structures. In relation to this Alex also deals with the restoration of expired companies and any necessary changes to company details.

Alex is responsible for managing the firms Intellectual Property portfolio, filing registrations for Patents and Trademarks in the Bailiwick for clients such as Coca Cola, Google and Pfizer.

Alex also provides general support to the Commercial Department.

Career

Alex moved to the island in late 2005.  He spent 6 months working for Credit Suisse Trust as a Trust Administrator.  He subsequently enrolled for the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) course at Nottingham Law School and has just completed the first year.  He then took time out to travel.

After he joined Collas Day in September 2006 as Company formation and trademark administrator and hopes to qualify as a Solicitor.
